Strongly Recommended
RGU is a modern university and it offers a lot of opportunities for students. The student must be ready for an intensive academic session especially for graduate studies and must spend some good time studyingand doing research in order to get the best from the modules. The town is small and the people are very friendly. However, it gets very cold.I strongly recommend the university for any serious minded (and fun-loving) person.

Aberdeen is a cold city so students should come with warm clothings or be ready to buy some here. There is large student community here comprising students from Robert Gordon and Univ of Aberdeen. Lots of students from Africa and Asia. Cost of living could be a bit high when compared to other small cities in the UK but the learning experience would be worth it.

Did not have any language challenge because I speak good english. back home in Nigeria, the official language is English. Initially had a litle difficulty understanding the scottish accent but it wasnt hard to adapt.

The cost of living is high in Aberdeen. Also when compared to Nigeria, the differnce in currency value makes cost of living higher in the UK generally.

students can get some discounts in some good stores. can also find good bargains if you are ready to search for it. Lots of good household stuffs at many charity shops for almost give-away prices

Where I stayed was great. it was very neat and very well maintained. Also close to the school. The school owned accommodation are also very good but not all are ensuite
