I think it is a great experience going to Tilburg. It has good teachers, a great library, excellent access to the internet and all the services at the University are very well organized. Dutch people are very nice. You will have also the chance to be ina interbnational environment and to know more about the Neteherlands and their culture. Go for it!

While in the Netherlands, use the train. I recommend you visit several palvces in the Netherlands, because it is worth it: Amsterdam, Utrecht, Maastricht, Roterdam, The Hague (Den Haag), you name it! Train is efficient and it takes you everywhere. There are special tickets that makes travelling not so expensive. If you want to go a little bit further, Belgium and Germany are right there, and Paris is not so far from Tilburg either.

Buy discount card for trains (f100 for a year) even if you stay one semester - it will pay off. get "flybuy" cards form supermarkets - they'll give you dscounts. It was very positive experience in Tilburg and in travelling around Europe. If it was not "lifetime experience", but very close to it. Not at any stage i regreted going there

It was a very nice University. I liked everything except that material was sometimes too much for students.

It needs a lot of improvement in its international program! Not even the moniters for the exams speak english in an english taught program.

The best thing about the time in Tilburg is meeting other international students. If you like to drink, there is lots of that. But there is high crime here and also lots of vandelism. Be prepared. If you are choosing between Leuven in Belgium, or LSE dont believe the hype and come to tilburg...it will disappoint you.
