My University was small, classes rarely housed more than 30 students beyond the second year. This was the perfect environment for my discipline International Development Studies. With the environment to have consistent one on one mentorship with the respected professors, students were able to get a much deeper understanding of the readings and lectures, while also being able to understand that nothing was linear in the arts. My course was interdisciplinary at its nature, spanning across all disciplines, making me a rounded scholar of the world. The debates and class discussions held in small rooms, facilitated by the professors, ensured thought-provoking and challenging discourse. Due to the nature and intensity of the debates, many students often had their understanding shaken, and this was encouraged, as professors reveled in the idea that there were always different approaches and understandings to a concept.

My supervisor was very helpful and an essential link to help me get my internship for my graduate studies. He was very present in guiding my career path and helping me to make good choices and answer any questions that I had.
