I think it's a great idea hiring a cottage to spend a weekend with your friends. In addition, you should try boat trips throught Baltic Sea, as you can party cheaper in them!

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I like staying at a shared appartment, in order to meet people and make new friends. As well as this, I like living in my own place, doing my cooking, etc.

Personal comments
It was great: I shared the appartment with a Finnish girl and a Chinese girl, and we got on very well. The place was confortable and we kept it clean, and we managed very well with sharing every task at home.

Overall
The courses: limited and outdated courses that could not support for future career
The teachers: there are very few teachers and they teach so many courses. Not all of them are supportive.
The students: students are friendly, and independent.
The campus
The student life/ services: There are no outdoor and extracurricular activities or sports clubs. There are only parties at bars and clubs.
Also, there is no mentorship or services that help the international student find jobs after graduation-
