I don't like very much the very leftie, almost communist, politics at this university, but I knew about it before coming. I just was surprised to discover that it comes more from the teachers than the students.

Centro de Ensenanza para extranjeros (CEPE) at UNAM is, maybe, one of the best options for you in Mexico to go to learn Spanish. After 3 six-week courses I became almost fluent, and when I came here, my Spanish was zero. Culture classes are even more helpful than general language classes, you end up speaking, listening and writing in Spanish much more than in your language class.

1. Again, I talk only about CEPE. Most people who take culture and art classes are usually Mexican, not foreigners. Though, they are much older than an average CEPE student.
2. It makes sense to go to the department of cultural activities every once in a while - they organize a lot of exciting trips.
3. Study books are terribly expensive! Try to buy used ones or photocopy your classmates' books.

Al entrar a la facultad me costó un poco de trabajo adaptarme,ya que aún no me sentía al 100 segura de que era a lo que me quería dedicar toda mi vida, pero al pasar los semestres, fui aprendiendo y descubriendo lo que me gustaba, y le fui agarrando cada vez más el gusto a mi carrera. Aún no termino pero ya estoy en la recta final y solo puedo decir que he aprendido mucho, en todos aspectos de la vida., no solo lo académico.

Buena parte del personal docente labora y/o investiga en centros especializados en diversas partes del mundo. Cuenta con múltiples campus tanto en la CDMX como dentro del territorio mexicano y fuera de él (USA y Canadá).

I'm proud to have studied at UNAM because this is the best University in Mexico (based on international studies). you can access to many courses. Talking about Veterinary Medicine Faculty, we get knowledge like statics, sanity of the food, laws, etc, and actually people don't know things like those. In the international context, the faculty is the unique one having the AVMA accreditation, and its teachers have at least a master degree and most of them international experience.

El nivel académico de la UNAM es prestigioso. Además de ser una universidad gratuita, cuenta con excelentes profesores que tienen libre cátedra.
Cuenta con varios campus, pero el principal es Ciudad Universitaria, que como su nombre lo dice, es una "cuidad" dentro de la Ciudad de Mexico, ya que cuenta con su propio transporte gratuito, instalaciones deportivas, teatros, bibliotecas, y varias facultades.
