They have an international office which should help you to find an appartment. -You end up with searching on your own because they put you in an appartment with other erasmus that don´t speak spanish as well

Course recommendations
They don't tend to offer ERASMUS courses so we did an extra course in Spanish grammar for foreign students which helped us improve and meet other ERASMUS students.

Travel as much as you can it's so cheap on buses and so easy to find a hostel/pension when you're there. See a lot of the north it's beautiful and don't miss the obvious places such as Madrid and Bercelona!

Government assistance
Other sources of funding:
Personal savings
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
Well, I didn't even have a cell phone, so I relied on phone cards. Everything else was either the same or more. I paid much less to travel than I would have in America, though. I ended up spending more on Nightlife simply because I was out more than I am in my hometown.

My grammer professor taught us very well. He did some amazing work with the subjunctive form, but more incrediblely, he ended up teaching us all the swear words possible by the simple use of them in nearly every sentence. I enjoyed the Spanish day in and day out, and vastly improved.
