Computer facilities at the university are pretty non-existant. Unless you want to spend a fortune at internet cafes (like I did) its a good idea to have a lap top.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I had a great time in halls so why would I want to change? More people to talk to in halls than a flat.

Personal comments
The hall "Santa Isabel" was in my opinion the best bit of the university. Well organised and staffed with lots of activities/parties put on throughout the year. Cleaned spotlessly twice a day. Good location on the main campus.
I made the effort to make friends with the Spaniards and they welcomed me as one of their own.

Going abroad to learn a language is very useful as it teaches you not only how to speak but also about the culture of the country. It is amazing how quickly you can learn a foreign language in the host country
