Tuve la buena suerte de ser formado por profesores de gran nivel académico Y profesores que compatibilizaban la docencia con la actividad profesional como ejecutivos de empresas privadas. Esto me permitió recibir una formación practica.

Personal comments
My main reason to go to Spain was to learn the language of the country. In my opinion Spanish is of the best languages to know. However, in the beginning I only knew very basic phrases and didn't feel well prepared through my Spanish courses at my home university. For example, I couldn't even order things without any problems. I had master dificulties. But with the help of my Spanish friends which I partly already had met at my home university I learned really fast. I hardly was in contact with any other exchange student and tried to live the Spanish way of life. I think that is the best way to really absorb the language.

“UNIVERSIDAD MEDIOCRE”

En mi opinion una universidad de negocios debe ser mucho más práctica de lo que la Universidad del País Vasco lo es. No le dan la importancia necesaria a relacionar lo teórico con lo práctico.

Course recommendations
Take as many as you can. You pay for it, so you might as well. Also take advantage of the "intercambio" which is teaming up with a spanish student to practice your spanish and their english. I wish I had done that now because many students got a lot out of meeting them. You practiced your language and you made some Spanish friends.

Show up for class!!! You will miss so much if you don't. Also, do your homework. It's so easy to get caught up in everything else and lose track of the reason why you're there: to learn!!!

When you are there you feel like time is limited and you must just do things on a whim. You may have one chance to travel to a city so you do it! Same with going out at night, you don't want to miss a second.

When you withdraw money from the cash machine do it in large quantities as you are charged everytime you withdraw money. Have a budget in mind for the whole trip and split that into how much you want to spend per month, so you don't go crazy and end up having to go home early.
