Università Ca´ Foscari di Venezia

It is really hard to find an internship in Italy (without speaking Italian fluently), although university tries to help in this process, by reviewing CVs of the students, giving suggestions. There is also dedicated pages on the website of university for internships in Italy and abroad. Number of zoom seminars are conducted for students on Italian job market. It is also possible to find an internship for yourself from LinkedIn for example and sign a contract. Despite all of the above, I have (and even still) struggled to find one for 4 months already.

I study at Foreign Trade which is a Bachelor's degree. My course is based in Treviso, a city near Venice. It is not a large campus, so a lot of services (cafeteria, gym, tech lab ecc.) are not available. All in all it is a little but efficient campus, there is a good student service, that helps you through every request or problem that may come up. The courses are very interesting, talking about economics in a theorical but also vey practical (Statistics, Math for Business and Finance), law, marketing and foreign languages.

Solid knowledge of the economic-business, legal, historical-political and social-political reality, with a special focus on “Belt and Road Initiative”. With the curriculum Language and Management to China, I have achieved a solid knowledge of Chinese terms related to international trade.  The level obtained is equivalent to the C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). 
  The programme has been conducted entirely in English.

Ca' Foscari University provides multiple and different services to its students, thanks to an integrated and efficient management system. Different libraries and modern campuses are available to all students providing also a strong wi-fi connection and a Bloomberg lab especially used by business students. The courses are available on the online website and thanks to the use of Moodle, teachers are able to upload slides and lessons every week.

Studying abroad has been my dream since my first year of high school. So when I finally decided to continue my studies at Ca' Foscari, I was eagerly awaiting to start my college experience. By the end of my first semester at Ca' Foscari, I've had a life-changing experience.  The student life in Venice has been wonderful. Moreover, Italian students have helped me integrate into this new society which I wasn't used to.  My experience with the professors has been truly amazing. Everything from interactive workshops hosted by the professors to their overall politeness towards the students has impressed me and given me greater ease when completing my tasks. In conclusion, I enthusiastically await the knowledge and experience that I'll get acquainted with the rest of my college career.
