The weather, it's not exactly Mediterranean. In winter it's very cold and wet. In summer it's very hot and wet.

Final comments
Make the most of travelling as much as possible, Ferrara's on a main trainline and it's easy to get to so many places. Also Bologna's really nearby and it's a great place to go out so make the most of it!

Even with the Euro stronger than the dollar, everything is generally cheapere here. There are no tourists in ferrara to drive up prices.
