“Università che ti fa crescere”

Overall
La statale è un Università ben organizzata che ti insegna non solo le materie dei corsi ma come autogestirsi. Pretende livelli alti, infatti è selettiva, ma aiuta molto gli studenti in difficoltà.

“dive into vivacious, yet challenging student life in Milan”

Overall
Im a freshmen student in graduate program on faculty of Management on innovation and entrepreneurship. This course was appealing to me, because of the course outline which included classes like analyzing venture markets, learning the structure and formation of start-ups. In reality first year is very similar yo any other economics major, based in microeconomics, business history. Great con for freshmen students is the size of the group, everybody takes same classes in the first year, so to save a seat you have to be early. University itself offers all necessary conditions for pursuing an academic degree, for international students as myself there is an international office where you can inquire about all the issues you have, however again UniMi host a lot of internationals, so you have to be early to get in line to get your questions answered. Make sure to learn some Italian, most english speakers are youth. In order to comfortably live here you need intermediate knowledge of Italian.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
If I was to go back I would choose an apartment again because I like to have my space, calm place with not so many people inside and I like to manage all necessary things in the apartment.

Personal comments
Firs six month I lived in a dormitory. It was clean, new, safe and it had all necessary facilities. I was very satisfy. Next year I lived in a private apartment because I needed to have my own space for studying, that was the only reason why I left dormitory.

I can't say that I have only one favorite night spot. I loved to go to Brera, to Navigli, to Arco della Pace. But one of the place I really liked to go was Bar Basso, with typical old man waiters and old furniture. The best caffè in Milan is easy to take everywhere, but as I said, I liked to visit typical old style places. A place where everybody has to see is Duomo, Castello Sforzesco with Parco Sempione, Brera, Navigli, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, museum of 900. The events that is the most beautiful is Fuori salone mobile in Via Tortona. For me Milan is a beautiful city that gives a person everything that is looking for.
