“Overall stay is nice but a few professors are too strict and reserved”

Overall
I study MSc in Space Engineering. The courses are well-planned and well-structured while some of the professors are too particular about the knowledge from students. The country and the people are very good and welcoming. I wouldn't mind finding myself working in Italy for a couple of years as I must say that I can relieve myself for a couple of vacations in several must-visit places here. Moreover, traditional foods like pasta, risotto, pizza, etc. are very delicious, although as an Indian, I took a few months to adjust to them.
I may not guarantee jobs for all the international students for they definitely need very good academics (at times even 110/110).

Personal comments
We had to look for a flat independiently, because there were so many people looking for a flat and it was impossible to find one.

In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Whilst Pisa itself is relatively small the unversity has something like 40, 000 students which is an ideal combination because the city is small enough to find your way around in but there are enough people to meet of your own age

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Pisa is a very good base for visiting the rest of Italy. Trains are cheap - especially if you buy a student discount card - so take advantage of it. On a more practical side, be prepared to wait for hours to join a bank, visit the doctor or speak to a lecturer in the first weeks.

Academic
Course recommendations
Courses are generally very flexible, best to speak to the lecturer first and ask if you can do the course also ask if you can study a reduced syllabus

The fact that some classes were completely full wasn't so good. Some people were standing listening the teacher.
