It was a lovely an amazing experience that everybody should have the opportunity of living. Oneself learns to "go throug the world" by oneself. The year I have been beeing erasmus, is the best year of my life (until now).

Don't fly to Paderborn airport. Terrible record for losing luggage. Much quicker to get direct flight to Dusseldorf.

Travel as much as you can, since there are good opportunities. The final exams aren't very difficult; if you study a little bit you will pass it without problems.

Avoid drinking Paderborn Gold, the local brew. Yuck. Try Warsteiner, it's much better.
Shop at Klingenthal, that's where I worked, lovely people.
Enjoy as many Schuetzenfests as you can get to.

At Paderborn you have lot of churches, a cathedral and it expands to bigger students country. Visit it, life it and love it. Paderborn is a place with lot of opportunities. Big companies are their like: Stute, Benteler, Nixdorf and more. Perfekt infrastructure let you be at 3 hours at all places in Germany. It is small, but big inside opportunities for future.
