Évaluation globaleIn my study program "Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft" (Theater-, Film- and Media- Studies) was a huge selection of lectures from artists as well as from theorists. I liked that Vienna is a place with many theaters, a vivid theatre scene and history. But to prevent missunderstandings, it is a theoretical, analytic, study program, it has nothing to do with creating works of art.
In my opinion, to really get into the topic it is necessary to do a lot of self study besides studying, meaning theater, film etc. must be of your interest a lot.

Studying at the University of Vienna, there is two main points that stood out for me:
First of all, I could choose the classes myself so I was still able to work part-time while getting my degree.
Secondly, I want to point out that the Bachelor's Programme in Sociology has really equipped me with a broad, theoretical background, so that now I can choose for myself what direction I want to go and what sparks my interest.
