Rent in Germany is amazingly cheap for students in comparison to Sydney, it was great! Alcohol and clubbing in general is also SUPER cheap compared to Australia. The semester pass allows you to travel for free within the state which was awesome and you can fly everywhere with Ryanair at really low costs.

Because food is more expensive, I had to eat at the university because I did not have a kitchen where I was living and nightlife is also more expensive than in Spain.
