Final comments

the mountains are quite near, Mont Blanc, in the winter is good for sport activities, but quite expensive. Good occasion to visit Geneva (2h train) the mediateranian coast, Italy, Spain

Get a pass'culture if you like the arts, it gives you access to 6 shows at selected venues for 60 euros. Get a 12-25 train pass to travel within france. We liked the Johnny Walsh's Irish pub, the Hot Club, Mi Barrio and La Marquise.
