Possibility to complete a dual degree in Business Administration and Applied Foreign Languages (in my case, English and German)
Jane H
France, Graduate
Business Studies, 2022
Overall
First of all, I would like to state that the campus is nice for students: cafeteria with cheap prices, a big library with a wide selection of books, enjoyable classrooms. You can easily get help for career opportunities and the must at this University would be the selection of countries to go on Erasmus, or even worldwide. They have a lot of connections everywhere.
For the studies, the more you stay the more there are interesting, especially in the master's degree.

In Lyon III u will meet a lot of friends from allover the world! If u want to meet some Frenchs, its possible too, but u have to try harder! Try to organise some social events for ur international friends, thats the best way of meeting people! University organises some parties but u wish to have more oportunities..

Lyon is situated in the center (more less :)) of France which gives u an opportunity to discover that amazing country.. Paris, Nice, Monaco, Chamonix are just few hours away, visit Annecy and Perouges, take a weekend off and go to Barcelona or Amsterdam! If u are a student u can travel really cheap! Take camera for fete de lumiere (Dec 8th), have a beer in Smoking Dog, make a picnic in the park, watch the match of Olimpique! In the winter go skiing to TROIS VALLEYS, in summer-suntan in Antibes! :)

I wish I had known...
That it would be so hard to come back to Canada afterwards. That very few of my friends would understand that or want to hear about my time in France. Coming back really is much harder than going away in the first place. It's sometimes hard to believe that year wasn't just a dream...

I really liked this University, its courses, extra-curricular activities, etc. The people at the International Relations Office are really helpful, and they often organise activities and trips just for exchange students.

Bring your sense of adventure! Débrouillez-vous is basically how things work. A lot of the time, people won't be able to give you the answers you're looking for. Sometimes they will be able to help you find the person who has the answers, sometimes not. You really have to be independent and think for yourself. Be prepared for a different style of life - the French really have their own way of doing things. It's hard to meet French students (most of my friends were other exchange students in the same situation as me), but persevere and you will.

Dans l'ensemble satisfait de mes études

Overall

It's real fun to study abroad. You gain independece and you can broaden your mind by meeting people from different countries and different cultures. You've got to try this.

Après avoir fait un DUETI en Irlande en 2019-2020, j'ai tout naturellement décidé de postuler à l'IAE de Lyon, pour le Master 1 en Affaires Internationales. Je ne regrette pas ce choix.
