I loved being able to speak French everywhere I went. And I noticed a dramatic improvement after taking courses in French. My writing and comprehension improved considerably. As for my ability to speak French, that improved because I made some French friends.

French is pretty difficult so if u won't work hard on it u will never get to know how to communicate in France.. Frechs will definatelly not help u with it..

Many classes tended to be aimed towards Erasmus students only which made it difficult to speak Frech as most students were native English speakers.

Since I already spoke French fluently before I went, my main goal was to perfect my skills in terms of pronunciation and grammar. I learned a lot of slang and idiomatic expressions which is something you don't learn from books

In the beginning classes were a nightmare! I didn't understand anything. But it all falls into place after a while. You'll be fine!

I relly get better tahn before, after the Erasmus experience because I have learnt how to communicate in technical language about the subjects that regards my current course of studies.
