Interesting experience but regrettable

Overall
I applied for this university as a logical continuation of my academic journey since I studied most of my life in a french school outside of the french territory. I wish my high school gave me more pertinent information about how will it be like studying in a university. I found it very hard to adapt and went from a protective and caring environment to an institution with a  huge concentration of students and a inexistant administration were you have to fight for the smallest rights of yours. The level is also very high and although the professors are prized and known for their good reputation I still feel like it’s a system that is mostly based on  devalorization as a tool of encouragement to do better and to push you to the edge. That is why by the end of it more than half of the promotion either reoriented or left the university and the remaining students deal either with anxiety and for some it reaches  depression or a total loss of  self-confidence. But at the end of the journey, it is with huge satisfaction that you look back at your course of study and the proudness is enormous plus you get to have some profound friendships with some students since you go  through the same hardness and difficulties and it brings you closer. I had the chance to go on a erasmus at the university of warwick in the Uk but it is conditioned to your grades and your English qualifications and also no informations will be given to you every piece of information that you require is nowhere to be found and you are expected to be looking for it.

Pros
Paris is a nice city , the value of the diploma is high, you get to meet new people,
Cons
Administration is horrible and the university should be more student centered because our wellbeing is not taking into consideration

Course recommendations
For practically every course there's lecture AND lessons in work groups. During the work group lessons we did a lot of experiences and discussions, you learn IN LIVE various phenomena in Psychological fields. I have learned EVERYTHING I know until now in Psychology in this university.

Personal comments
It is known that the French universities do not give out the degrees very easily. The courses are absolutely interesting and fantastic, but you need a lot of luck to succeed in exams because your hard work doesn't pay out every time.

Personal comments
I honestly don't know anything about the housing connected to the university. but if you ask me about my personal experiences with the realestate agency, I've been to the court and had lawyers help me out. If anybody reading this needs advice on which realestate agency to seek and not to seek, please mail me.
