Recomendaciones de cursos
The Erasmus courses on offer are good, but are at a rather basic level. I therefore recommend to check out the courses for "normal" French students which are not organised to meet the needs of international students. They might be abit more difficult at the beginning, but your French will improve wuickly and they are very interesting, i.e. Relations Internationales, Cinema

It proved rather difficult to meet and become involved with local students, as British and French Student life is rather different. Although efforts were made by the ERASMUS office, maybe these could somehow be improved.

Logement étudiant: L'offre de logements étudiants sur et hors campus pourrait être élargie et modernisée pour répondre à la demande croissante et assurer un meilleur confort aux étudiants.

Grenoble is a great city with a vibrant atmosphere with many international students and the location with a constant view on the beautiful French Alps (only 1 hour from the best ski resorts in Europe!) is excellent.

It has been a few years, so I can't remeber very much. What I do recommend though is to avoid the two English Pubs in town, that is if you want to speak French, don't go there!!!

Grenoble is in a very good place to travel to another countries like Italy, Switzerland and with lovely places around the city as Chambery, Chamonix, Monaco etc... A very good place to sky in the alps, its a sporty and student city.

Go skiing, meet the locals and try to take a trip down to the coast. Great camping sites.
Also try to make the most of the courses on offer, some of them are really interesting.
