I wish I had known...
There really isnt a student atmospehere in Angers. Apparently there were 3 universities in the city but you wouldn't have guessed. there just didnt ever seem to be anything going on for students.

Buy a a bus pass so you can travel regularly to and from the city centre.
Do not open a bank account at BNP Paribas...they dont know what they're doing. Take a laptop. Don't take dressy clothes to go out in...no one dresses up in this city!

J'ai personnellement suivi des cours à l'IUT d'Angers et à Polytech Angers, les deux établissements étant rattaché à l'Université d'Angers. De nombreux cours passionnants et beaucoup de projets menés pour appliquer les connaissances acquises.

At my university, everything is crystal clear. Student life is great. There are mini events that happens at the University. Teachers and students are friendly and helpful. schedules and classes are all interesting.
