Some bumps along the road, but never good experience overall
Chloé C

Overall
Would have been better if the government didn't decide to cancel my bachelor's degree 6 weeks into the first year. But our teachers fought for us, and we got a new courses and I still studied something that I loved.

Pros
Huge diversity of classes

A lot of students, could be hard to hold on if you need to be followed by your teachers like in a school.

EEIGM - engineer in materials engineering
Emilie M
France,
Materials Science, 2023
Overall
I am now pursuing my 4th year at the EEIGM, the European School of Engineers in Materials Engineering, created in 1991. The school is part of Lorraine INP of the University of Lorraine. The EEIGM is accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur. A five-year public school, it relies on a consortium of seven universities in France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Russia, and Belgium to offer an international scientific curriculum in the field of materials, unique in Europe. The EEIGM student studies the cycle of life of metallic materials, polymers, ceramics, and composites, from their elaboration to their end of life. At the end of the curriculum, 3 foreign languages should be learnt and mastered: English, German, and Spanish. I also did a polymer option, in which I learnt more about biopolymers and biomedical applications.
