The uni itself is out in the sticks and some of the teaching staff are very distant, however there is plenty of choice of course.

Submersion in another language is the most effective means of learning it. I enjoyed speaking French so much I refused to speak english in public places.

I loved living in my garret and would recommend it to anyone moving to Paris but, the older I get the more space I need!

Many of my fellow students stayed in CROUS accomodation because it was cheap and, though it was close to uni, it was quite a distance out of Paris. I found it better to commute to uni from town than vice versa
