In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
The English and French University Systems differ greatly, this institution has room for improvement but by French standards is good. Having said that outside of the university I wouldn't change anything else about Aix or the region for the world, its a fantastic place.

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Make the most of the region, there is so much to do you will never fit it all in so don't waste time before exploring it. Give Marseille a chance it doesn't deserve the reputation it has, go to Notre Dame De La Garde and you'll see what I mean... spectacular!! Make an effort to mix with the local students and not just the other international ones, it will pay off in the end.

Personal spending habits
I think it was mainly down to the accommodation being that much cheaper. Though travel is generally cheaper in France, I did more of it than in the UK.

Personal comments
Get a student/young person travel card of some sort. Not only is it cheaper but it will encourage to go out and do more which is what's it's all about.

Personal comments
The actual university accommodation is NOT to be recommended. Mainly for security reasons and a lack of cleanliness

Overall
I am a student in LEA English-Japanese, where I study these two languages as well as their civilization, their culture, but also economics, law, and management.
I love my university: the courses are very interesting and the professors always listen and are there to help us, the student life is great and the school service is very reactive.

Careers
No, I don't think so.
However, we do have a website that offers hundreds or even thousands of internship opportunities, but only in France.
