Found that within the UPC catalan was the main language however some of the tutors changed to spanish for our benefit.

I allready knew spanish before I went to study in BCN, but it was quite a surprise that 90 % of all clases were in catalan. And it allways depend on the professor you choose/get . So, you never know ... luckily in most cases it is possible change the group.

Some problems with the Catalan as courses were sometimes in this language that I don't really understand.
