Valencia, famous a couple of years ago for ´la ruta bakalao´ unfortunately lacks in quality clubs. The better clubs like Puzzle and Chocolate are outside of Valencia and you need to get a taxi there and public transport back to Valencia in the morning. Bars, well el barrio del Carmen is really the place to be. Other areas outside of the centre are situated along la avenida Blasco Ibañez, but the fact that all these places are at the bottom of apartment buildings, there really isn´t much outdoor atmosphere, you actually have to go into any given place to see what it´s like. That´s where el barrio del Carmen (el Carme) is great, especially in the warmer months where you can sit in the old streets and watch the people passing by. Probably the most important thing to remember is that no one is out before midnight, and don´t even ...

Valencia is a city full of energy; there are a lot of things to see and do on your free time and especially I could say that I loved travelling outside of the city and Spain; easy and cheap to go everywhere if u r up for it! If I would have to recommend something out of Valencia I would definately say small cafes, bars and if you are interested in sports there is a lot of variety but u have to be active. Carmen, Gran Via, and Blasco Ibañez are ideal for going out and my favourite places were Cafe Paris, Cafe Madrid, Tony Roma's (the best dessert in the world), Fresc Co (really good buffet), and the best restaurant for eating paella: Pepica, on the beach, on the far end near the harbour. There are plenty of bars and discos to go, just don't miss the light life!

Outstanding 5 years

I've been studying in this university for 5 years  and I'm very  glad since I've learnt many skills and topics  I wasn't aware of. I thought it would only be studying and pasting everything I had read, but  I was completely wrong . In this university, the aim is to work in groups in order to improve your grupal competences, discussing and understanding each other, planning and carry out complex tasks into parts and steps. Besides, the teachers are very smart, caring and they always encourage you even if you failed  one exam or any task. Another point to bear in mind is the high quantity of practices that you do during each course, that makes the degree pretty interesting and dynamic.

The courses I particicipated in were from ARA group. Here, teachers were quite involved in the individual experience and learning by means of tutorships.
The courses included both practical and theoretical evaluations, including practices in laboratories and projects.
The overall experience is positive and the competition between the class mates was nutritive.

The Univeristy has a magnificent campus and the infrastructures make the student be the main character of the life campus. We can enjoy many green spaces, a building which is specifically for the students, many libraries, a centre which offers additional free formations in different areas... The teachers are, in general, very willing to help the student and they let us access to a lot of materials and interesting links which are posted in the intranet, which is very well built. Moreover, I could enjoy an Erasmus experience thanks to the great range of relations that the University has with other entities.
