University helped us with spanish language. We had many posibilities to learn! Exchange with other students and spanish classes as a normal class and extra bussines curses or certificate preparing ones.

Everything is in spanish, which is good. Avoid courses taught in english if you want to meet spanish people. language courses at the university are poor with too big classes

I spoke a lot of Spanish before, now I even speak more. Sometimes people speak "Valenciano" (variant of Catalan) but that's not a problem, everybody speaks Spanish and is willing to do so.

The main way to get the most out of your experience is to make friends with other international students which is not the easiest thing to do but well worth the effort.

Sure there is a lot more to learn about the Spanish language - there´ll never be an end - but that´s the reason to search continuosly a possibilty to improve my skills.

In the beginning it was hard, but I had to use Spanish everyday so I started speaking pretty fast. By the time I was leaving I had no problems speaking.
