buy your food at lidl or dia, restaurants are (better) and cheaper in the not so very touristic parts of town. Go eating around 13:30 at these little restaurants, then a meal (3 plate dishes + 1 drink) costs only 7 to 8 euro. On some days entry to musea is free.

"Sanitas" is a very good and cheap health insurance, if you don't have an international one, this is a very good option. Another tip is to buy groceries not in supermarkets but in the small groceries stores near the street market.

The exchange period is something special in life. You go out more often, you travel more often to get to know people, culture and the country itself. Consequently you spend more money. But that is perfectly all right, is not it?
