Why?
Actually, I spent half of the erasmus in a private accomodation and the other half in a college. Both accomodation were fine, but I would rather choose a college because I met many many people and made new friends in the college.

The housing provided by the University was of very high quality. The only con was the location - close to the department but far from the city centre
