“Best combination of Fun and Work”

Overall
The UIUC community lives by a work hard and play hard mentality. Students from philosophy to engineering are consistently working 5 plus hours a night studying in the library while weekends are spent cruising Green Street to have fun with friends and bars and clubs. I would 100% recommend for any exchange or international student who is considering American universities for study.

There is a Humanities Professional Development and Career Center within the College of Liberal Arts & Science. It helped me find two internships in Logistics as a history major.

if you don't mind snow storms in the winter and tornados in the summer and you like to party a lot (biggest fraternity system) but you don't mind that it is not a big city like LA,but you have a damn good acadamic program go!!!

Go on weekend trips. Chicago, ST Louis, Indianapolis 3hrs away- then go further south.
