My overall experience was like a hell,I did the biggest mistake by choosing Ireland as my study abroad destination. This country is far lag behind technology,no jobs, and lots of discrimination on the basis of race and skin color. Its kinda village. You will not learn new things,as everything here looks like 1970's..

Some pubs in the city, as Nancy Blake, The Old Quarter, and the pubs in and around the campus. To dance, the Kilmurry Lodge, good music and not expensive. Apart from some old and small pubs in the tiny villages of the area.

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
it was good to get to know some everyday phrases including slang. In addition, Irish english is definetly something which you will not hear very often and which really sometimes has strange ways of pronouncation of words.
