It was easier to meet people and to get into the irish culture as we were sharing the houses with irish people. Also, there were students from other countries which made us to learn from them and to share experiences. That environment was a motivation to study as well.

Housing
Type of housing: brookfield hall
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
on campus and off campus student accommodation are very expensive and we do not able to get the chance to interact with local people and with other international students.I think living in a apartment or house with some irish people is much better to learn new things and improve your english.

on campus accommodation is good in facility but very expensive. The university also deals in off campus accommodation like brookfield hall, groody student hall.I think they are as expensive as on campus and also not having good facilities and they also have hidden charges which they might not tell you in the starting. And be aware of the contracts, they will ask you to sign a contract and they you are not allowed to leave the accommodation for any reason, they will not listen to your problems, they are just hungry for the money.so beware..I think apartment or private houses are much better to live, they r cheaper(you can get a room with all facilities comparable to on campus accommodation in just euro 200 per month while in on campus it may be more than euro 400 per month)..after overall experience i can say its better to choose Canada or any Asian country but prefer not to come here..

the accomodation is great at the University especially at Dromroe Village where I stayed. The village is next to the Foundation Building which means I needed 5 minutes to go to my classes. Everything is so close and the atmosphere is great. In addition, the look on Shannon river and great environment (clean without polution from the cars) is great.
