Overall
I wish I had known...
that Luton is a very multicultural town and I could not practically find any native english speaker to practice my my english accent. Oher people spoke their dialects of english which was quite different from what I expected. So,I ended up practising my american accent with my american exchange friends.

Personal recommendation
ok, the University is not famous for its rank, I think it comes somewhere at the end of the list. Nevetheless a good job is done there. Teachers are really accesible and helpful and the envirnoment pleasant.

Final comments
London was what I opted for, but there wasn't a university available for erasmus students. So Luton was my next choice as it was the closest to London. One of the best points was the Luton airport. We literally had the whole Euurope at our feet with really cheap fares. The nightlife is crazy as Luton is full of students. It's not for a long time though. I think 1 year to stay is enough-after that it becomes dull. If you 're looking for a beautiful city to stay then don't go to Luton-I would characterise it as rather ugly.

The Student Union Bar and SubClub are so cheap and not so crowded, but when you have been at the cinema and bowling, you've done everything in town...
