the student union was very good on wednesdays and frydays. On Monday we used to go to chicago's. Weekends were very boring so we used to go to London. In Luton people used to go very early around 21.00 until 01.30

Why?
My room in Luton was exactly 30 minutes walk from the University.
Also my accomodation was situated in the roughest part of town.
Rapes, murders and muggings were part of every day life in that area!
Also there was nothing around you, if you wanted to go to town you would have to spend money on a cab because it was too dangerous to walk!

I didn't have any problem in communication before going. In a month's period I learned to use slang as well. Bear in mind that Luton is very multicultural-don't expect to hear the London accent.

Don't miss Mondays at Liquid Night Club, the club Funck, the cafeteria/bar Whitehouse on weekdays and on a Saturday night when it becomes a club , the Student Union Club mostly on Wednesdays.
