Check out the beaches on Key Biscayne, they are less crowded than South Beach and you can BBQ there!

Final comments
The only negative aspect is enrolling for courses due to the fact that international/exchange students are low priority. Therefore make sure you talk to your advisor bach home before choosing the courses.

The university has a beautiful campus, great professionals, amazing college life, situated in a big city in which you there are incredible networking and partying opportunities.
However, it is a very expensive city and university.

The TOEFL exam is given a week after introduction week, which is already too late to enroll for popular courses. By the time the TOEFL results are know these classes are already full
