“A fantastic student experience”
Cormac M
United Kingdom, Undergraduate
Economics, 2020
Overall
Having studied Economics at Newcastle for 3 years I can wholeheartedly reccomend it to any undergruate or Erasmus student.
The degree content was challenging but taught thoroughly and well and the small group seminars for each module were very useful for improving deeper understanding.
The city itself was amazing; so much to do, places to eat and student venues to go out. It made my 3 years constantly fun and exciting.

Scotland is less than 2 hours away. The Hadrian Wall starts right outside of the city. Lots of typical castles to visit.
Pints of beer at just a pound.

“Great University”
Jessica A
United Kingdom, Undergraduate

Overall
The student life at Newcastle University is ideal, the city isn't too big but also not too small. The student union offers a wide range of events and activities, and on top of that the city itself is full of bars, restaurants and clubs. The teaching is also very good. The lecturers are very supportive and helpful, the teaching is engaging and the university resources are very good too.

Traveling is easy as it isn't so far to Scotland as well as to London. Really in the middle of the UK. Even my most favourite place, the Lake District, is very close.

It is a very good choice. This university gives numerous opportunities to meet people because it organizes a lot of activities, for example excursions and travelers.
