Personal comments
OK accomodation. Pretty much what I'd expected. The best thing was the fact that it was on campus which made it central in relation to the things and people I was interested in.

In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
I can only recommend it. Yet, there is the downside that Waterloo/Cedar Falls is a relatively small town (at least in American standards - approx. 100 000+), which means that life outside campus could be more interesting other places. Yet, this also gives you an extra incentive to travel while you are there.

Being in another country it's only natural that you want to do a number of things that you don't do at home - and they usually cost. Especially travelling cost a lot of money, but it was worth every dollar.
