Don't miss the Notre Dame Apt, where peace students from all over the world have dinner and parties together from time to time. Try to meet some of them at the Hesburgh Center! Also, Corby's is a great bar with billiards and US ambiance. Don't forget your ID! If you want something more "chic" don't miss the "jazz club". You would not believe you are in South Bend! For movies, there are many options but ask about the 50 cents per movie theater. Restaurants: several good ones. For a good breakfast go to the house of pancakes (not the IHOP, but the other one). For Indian food you can get some good one for lunch at the buffet at the Star of India ($5) and Taste of India is excellent for dinner. Thai food go to the one downtown. For american food go to the Oaken Bocket on ironwood Road. Also don't miss to visit the South Bend Library as well as the Center for the Homeless (maybe you can help) or the Robinson Center, very close to campus.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
In this especific MA program on international peace studies, all students can choose to live together in the same building. Being 22 students from 18 countries, this has been a very enriching experience.
