Excellent Peers
Simon N
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Economics, 2025
Overall
Oxford is an excellent environment owing not just to its superb professors but also to the peers you are surrounded with. I have met the smartest people in my life here who elevate me and push me to strive for the top of my field. You can always have an intelligent conversation with someone and learn from their experiences, which is a big change from high school.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
If I was to go back and study or work anywhere in the United Kingdom, I would like to live just as I would if I were a citizen of the country, rather than as a student. I want to be independent.

Personal comments
Because it was Oxford, I enjoyed living near that much history every day. The accomodations, while a bit of a shock at first, added to the overall experience.
