Personal spending habits
at home i am living with my parents so i am not paying any rent. For the phone it was expensive to me because i was spending time phoning to my family, this spending doesn't exist anymore. The food is expensive when you study abroad because you usually on the campus, you don't bother cooking and eat out. The nightlife is special when you're a student abroad. You have to meet people and socialise, therefor you need to go for drinks and food very often to meet other students

Personal comments
the best xay to save money sis to open a bank account in the host country and take advantage of the first days of registration when Banks agree to open a bank account to any student. It is more difficult if you do it later

Plan travels well in advance. Flights are cheaper that way. Save a lot of money before you travel.

All the support that you need
Christina T
United Kingdom, Graduate
Development Studies, 2020
Overall
I have obviously applied for more than one universities when it comes to my masters. One of the main reasons that I've chosen University of Sussex is the support that I've got from them. Right at the beginning, there were a few courtesy emails asking if everything is alright with the registration process to the Webinars held to help international students like me to 'feel at home' when we're studying or trying to make 'a home away from home'.

Research-intensive on development studies
Pedro T
Portugal, Graduate
Development Studies, 2021
Overall
On of the most interesting masters I've seen in the last few years. Interacting with other student is a must if you want to succeed in this masters.
Being a research-intensive masters student is not easy. Lots of work on long assignment, long ready hours and not much time if you're working full time.
However, definitely worth it if you are looking for a more in-deep perspective analistic masters on a broad range of different matters.

Pros

To much to study with very little amount of time.
