Personal comments
As I have experieced private accommodation I can´t see any disadvantages to university properties. Nevertheless might be a lack of time before term starting or the contract procedures to rent a room/house an aspect not to go for it as everything is arranged by the university beforehand. I would not advice students with no international travel/ study experience and fluent english to go for the option of private accomodation. In general the cost of living is quite expensive in comparison to other European cities.

During the Academic year I took English classes to prepare the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English. It helped me to read faster and write better.
