In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
I think the UVM was great. Not only the city - Burlington - has its own atmosphere (kind of hippie, lots of art etc.), but UVM as well. The courses were great, activities too. We were a nice group of international students. We had FUN!

Final comments
I personally always wanted to go to Canada, and that came true. We made two trips there, one only to Montreal, which is an hour far from Burlington (bus is really affordable), second one to Quebec/Ottawa/Toronto. I have very nice memories.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would have more space for myself and wouldn't be disturbed be undergrad teenagers in the next room:)

Personal comments
For the cost we paid, I would expect more. The other thing was, that I was a bit older than the rest of students on that particular campus, so I would prefer people my age. Also, we did have to buy a meal plean, which was pretty expensive too and I didn't even use it all. There was a kitchen, but no kitchen utensils and it wasn't really worth to buy everything for one semester.

Red Cafe, on the main downtown street-Church St. Live music, mostly jazz, but also Dj's playing Fridays and Saturdays. Really nice and cozy atmosphere. Reminded me Europe.
