Yes, cost of living and they need more courses. If I knew I could only take a few, I would have not applied for the second semester.

Don't go here. Hamilton is boring. New Zealand is fantastic. Try to go to school in Otago, Wellington or somewhere where there is more to do.

Because back home everything is kind of old fashion unlike here they keep up with all the latest fashion and plus back in the Pacific Islands things go slow and i stayed with my family and plus we live on our own land unlike here we have to pay the rent and things. One thing about New Zealand is that it has four seasons so people need to buy the clothes and stuff. Back home the fares are really cheap going by bus is just $1.00 anywhere unlike here its more expensive.

To bring a lap top, it makes life so much easier.

Waikato has a good variety of programs, but could use more art classes. Overall no complaints.

a handbook on student life basically with things like special clothes to wear in cold weather, food, study hours, money matter, acculturation etc.

i really love this universiy! i love the location, the campus, facilities and everything thats come with it. i dont think i'll trade places with anyone:) but i do hope that in future the uni. will involve the int'l stuents more like in unions, activities and funtions.

Yeah when trying to sort out your courses there are people who you can approach if you are confused with what you want to take. They are really good in helping people out.

They should provide more rooms for study groups and they need more than one hour to be in a room.
