Travel tip - make friends with people with cars. The only way to get in or out of Whitewater is by car. A cab ride is $50 one way. Not worth it. Dress warm in winter. Whitewater has cold fronts all the time. Leave the iPod in the room or in your backpack when you're walking around in the winter. Mine was in my pocket most of the time and died quite a few times. Now the battery is finito.

Family
Other sources of funding:
none
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
I had to eat out all the time because the dorms don't have kitchens that are really usable. I spent less on telephone because I didn't have one. I spent more on nightlife because I went out more. I also traveled around the country, so there were travel expenses.

Dapper Dogs is the best place to get food. And Karina's, if you dig Mexican food. Otherwise the restaurants have pretty low standards. Subway delivers consistent performance. Bars - "Wunder Bar" is cheaper, "Downstairs" is the only place with a semblance of a dancefloor, but drinks cost more.
