Night spots:casey, dopler and trafo Cafes:maximilian (the best chocolate in Bratislava) Don't lose the trip around Bratislava organised by the UNIVERSITY!

Local people don't speak English so in everyday situations sometimes it may be a little difficult to communicate especially in the beginning. Concerning the university, the teachers and students where more than understandable but the receptionists and generally the rest could have been better. (actually in the dormitoy they HAVE to be better)

The university internet page concerning the courses offered is misleading. The teachers though are very helpful and offer extra classes to ajust the course to sth similar u may need to follow in your course program

Nightlife if very cheap. Even when they ask more than what they offer it in the catalogue. But take it easy! In that way u spend more than u would in your country and u don't understand it.

The bus to centre of the city stops exactly in front of the airport

Final comments

Skyeurope offers cheap flights directly in Bratislava, if u chose another company you should better land in Wien and from there take the train! In your travels there use Student Agency buses!They r very very cheap and offer amazing travelling conditions!Best way to go to Voudapest!The train sucks.
