I wish I had known more about the culture and the weather. I wasn't quite aware that most of my "knowledge" were prejustices.

Final comments
I am really glad and grateful that I had the possibility to study abroad. I very much enjoyed my stay in Australia and made a lot of new friends.
The most important person at VUT was Herta Derrij, the International Coordinator! She was extraordinary helpful and friendly and overall is a very lovely person.
A final advice for all other students: Australia is BIG!!!!
From Melbourne to Adelaide it takes you ca. 12 hours by bus.
Australia is a very VARYING country!
In Melbourne for example it is very cold in winter!
Overall: Have fun!!!!

Personal comments
Place not to be missed are Brunswick and Lygon Streets, Melbourne offers permanently festivals here and there and they are all worth having a look. The great Ocean Road, Philip Island and Wilsons Promontory are unfortunately further away, but definitely worth seeing.
