Main source of funding:

Other sources of funding:
Government assistance<br>
An ERASMUS grant
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
Since the kitchen was rather small, and used by 12 persons, it was harder to cook than it is at home. This made me by more pre-cooked dishes.

Amsterdam is an "international city", you can find EVERYTHING...you can meet ANYONE!There were very nice spots, such as Scape ( for who likes house music and dance until the sun rise), leidsplein is a great place to have dinner and museumPlein is THE PLACE if you are in a cultural mood. One of my best memmories, was the Museum Nacht, one special event, where you buy a ticket and during on entire night, you can visit all the Amsterdam's museums and travel by boat from one to the other. Amazing!

Because those are nice places, you get to know people from all over the world and you get to have good relationships with the neighbours. Also, because those are good options in The Netherlands, to be more exact.

Great!. However, if you are living in a building with several more people sharing some services (like bathrooms and kitchens) you should be careful to have clean neighbours, or at least to make a pact for all of you to be clean or similar things. Oh!! Parties rock ! ;-)
