Again, join a student club, get out into the univerisity. You will gain a lot of connections by attending Waseda, so use them when you can.

Joining a "cirlce," or student club is a good way to get out at night to drinking parties. A lot of international students go to The Hub, which has a lot of international cusomers.

Classroom seating was very poor and uncomfortable, as it was hard wooden bench seating with wobly tables. School buildings were extremely run down and dirty. The library was new, and very nice, as was the cafeteria.
