Yonsei University is one of the Top3 universities in Korea (kind of corresponding to the US Ivy League Universities when it comes to their reputation in Korea). Should you therefore ever consider to work in Korea, this line in your resume certainly helps. And it surely earned this reputation. Great administration that is always great help, highly-reputated professors, smart students and a lot of fun.

You must be open to being very socially interative (especially in the drinking aspect). You must increase your alcoholic intake in order to keep up with the others.

Be prepared to be exposed to a different culture with different eating habits, traditions, and language. By being openminded you will learn a lot.

Try to choose the courses that most interest you ( although it is not easy if you have to transfer them-this is what happened to me!). Ask previous student what courses they took and the amount of work you have to do for them!

Try to travel as most as you can. South Korea is in the middle of asia: you are one hour flight from Beijing, one from Tokyo, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam are quite close too! It would be a good opportunity to spend your summer holidays here if you come for the Spring Term!

All classes have been online since 2020 and it's honestly difficult to find your community here. It still has prestige though. It's known as the second or third best university in Korea.
