Avis sur La Janda International House

Vejer de la Frontera is a small, perfectly conserved, historic town surrounded by beautiful countryside, within easy reach of fabulous beaches. It has been granted the status of Area of Historic and Artistic Interest and has also won the Beautiful Towns of Spain award.

But Vejer is not just history. The steep, zigzagging streets, the whitewashed houses and the balconies filled with flowers also hide Internet cafés, hotels, pensions, shops, restaurants, galleries and sidewalk cafés.

The school building dates from the middle of the nineteenth century and is constructed on top of the ancient Moorish town walls. Large sections of these walls, which were built in the eleventh century, have been conserved, including the watch tower which overlooks our garden.
